16 Apr Merce Cunningham’s 102nd birthday – ‘Nearly Ninety’ Composed by JPJ

To celebrate what would have been Merce Cunningham’s 102nd birthday today, you can view some of Merce’s work as part of an On Demand Film Festival (MERCEDAY). This includes a piece entitled ‘Nearly Ninety’ that John composed music for, alongside Sonic Youth and Takehisa Kosugi. Choreographed by Merce himself, this was first performed in 2009 at BAM.
